Verification
Buyers are sending real budgets to student teams, so trust signals have to mean something specific. We separate them rather than issuing one vague badge.
University email verified
An administrator confirmed control of a university email address. This proves a person is affiliated with the university. On its own it does not mean the university recognizes the organization, and we never present it as though it does.
Organization verified
We reviewed evidence that the university recognizes the group: an official directory listing, student government recognition, a university-hosted page, an official organization email, or adviser confirmation.
Verification expires annually and must be renewed, because student leadership turns over and a badge earned three years ago says nothing about today.
